Buhari Urged To Overhaul EFCC

The transition monitoring group has asked incoming-president, Muhammudu Buhari, to ensure a total overhaul of the anti-corruption agencies, especially the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Buhari Urged To Overhaul EFCC
The President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari.
The group says doing this will restore Nigerians lost confidence in the agencies to prosecute and fight against corruption in the country.
According to Daily Trust, the group’s chairman, comrade Ibrahim Zikirullahi, said this while presenting the findings of the ‘TMG’s maiden governance survey’, on the expectations of Nigerians on the Buhari administration.
Speaking in Abuja today, the chairman said that the EFCC currently had little or no value in the evaluation of Nigerians and the society, hence the need for its leadership and operations to be completely overhauled.
He said: “All we see is that the more the money that is given to the EFCC, the more corruption we see in Nigeria. So, as far as we are concerned we are calling for the incoming administration to overhaul the EFCC. In fact from beginning to the end, there should be a serious cleaning of the EFCC, we need people with sound mind, people that are intelligent, people that are courageous, people with the will, people that are ready to put their lives on the line to do the needful to make sure that Nigeria is rid of corruption.

“These are the people that can change Nigeria to the promise land, because any system that encourages corruption is doom. So, what we have here today as EFCC is more or less political structure that government of the day determines that area to go. We want a new leadership in EFCC. Not only that, they (EFCC) must be put in front line charge, so that, issue of money will not be problem in tackling corruption in this country. But those that we are putting there must also be examined to know that they are not corrupt,”  Zikirullahi said.
Buhari himself has been critical of the EFCC operation under President Goodluck Jonathan. Ahead of the 2015 general elections, the president-elect called on Jonathan to call to order security agencies, who were straying from the proper cause according to the peace pact signed by both men.

Jonathan was originally billed to visit Deeper Life on February 8 after leaving Redemption Camp, but he had to proceed to the Lord’s Chosen when he discovered the church was not ready to welcome him.

According to an highly placed official of the church, the "leadership of the ministry was very careful not to allow politics or politicians dent the image of the church or pastor Kumuyi. The presidency had invited him severally for meetings with the president, but he would wave it aside.

“When Abati wrote the church to inform them about Jonathan’s visit, precisely January 22, the church leaders deliberated upon it and decided to turn it down”.

Asked if Kumuyi was aware of the decision, the insider said, “of course, but he has no final say. Though he founded the church, he does not decide how such thing is being handled. He had to allow leaders of the church to handle it. And when it became obvious that they were not ready to welcome the president, Daddy Kumuyi had to accept their decision”.

It was gathered that the president had to leave Redemption Camp for Rev. Lazarus Mouka’s Lords Chosen in Ijesha when he discovered the church was not ready to welcome him.

Female bank manager caught red handed by husband in bed with driver

The marriage of a female bank manager is on the verge of collapse after she was caught red handed by her husband and her driver in bed.

A female bank manager simply identified as Susan, with one of the new generation banks in the country was handed the disgrace of her life when she was reportedly caught having sex with her driver on her matrimonial bed by her husband.
According to reports, the sordid incident happened in Lugbe, a suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, when the husband, a director with a ministry in the FCT, acting on a tip off after he was intimated of his wife's adulterous way of life, came back home suddenly to meet what turned out to be a nightmare for him.
According to the story, the woman, a pretty mother of three from Enugu State, who also ran a beauty palour in Wuse, was in the habit of sleeping with younger men both in hotels and even in her matrimonial home and when information got to her husband who is said to be in his 60s, he did not believe at first but when his friends started making mockery of him, he decided to begin monitoring his wife which paid off.
A source who was part of the spy team narrated:
"On the day of the discovery, the man had 'gone' work, unknown to his wife that he was lurking around the corner waiting to see if what he heard all along was true.
He did not have long to wait as shortly after 11 am, he noticed the wife's car drive into their house with her official driver, who was also suspected to be her lover.
After waiting for some moments, the man sneaked into his compound and with his keys, used the back door to gain access to the house and lo and behold, his beloved wife was being ravaged on their matrimonial bed.
The shocked man did the unthinkable by pulling out a gun on the adulterous pair and ordered them out naked.
He could have paraded them in the street naked if not for neighbours who begged on their behalf.
As we speak, the man has sent the wife parking and is set to conduct a DNA test on the three children to ascertain if they are actually his."
